At the level of specific competences, a solid training in the field of Electrical Engineering, with special relevance to all matters related to the energy sector, Electric Energy Systems and Electric machines and installations; operation and control of the Electrical Energy Systems; operation of Electromechanical Systems, especially in their maintenance; designing electrical installations, monitoring their execution and ensuring their maintenance; analyze, evaluate and propose solutions to all issues related to energy use, giving particular relevance to issues related to energy efficiency.

Focusing on the development of skills for structural analysis and innovation, the study plan addresses entrepreneurship and project management, conveying an integrated view of the technological, economic and environmental aspects that support more efficient, reliable and sustainable energy solutions.
